Jewellery packaging: Rethinking luxury.

Traditional jewellery packaging has always given me mixed feelings—a pouch in a box, placed inside another box, then tucked into a little bag, sprayed with perfume, and tied with a ribbon. Beautiful? Yes. Practical? Not really. Silly to store, yet too pretty to throw away immediately...

With my ideal packaging, I wanted to preserve not just common sense but also a sense of luxury—without burdening the environment. And, of course, give it an artistic and aesthetic delight.

Creating this packaging came with its own set of challenges. I want it to be made from fully recyclable cardboard, without glue, staples, foam, or plastic—while still being sturdy enough for safe shipping and effortless to use. I experimented in every possible way. For years! And now, at last, it seems I’m satisfied.

Black cardboard hand-sealed with my logo, kangaroo leather cord. And a little piece of my ink-painting inside. Each one is unique.

What do you think of my new concept?
